Episode 51 - Road Rage

The "No Squeakuel Summer" skids across the finish line as Nick and I discuss--or rather Nick discusses and I rant about--The Wachowski Brothers'(?) 2008 adaptation of the beloved Japanese import "Speed Racer". Neither of us have ever seen the original animated series, so kindly step off your high horse and listen as we commend the film's striking visual style, fantastic score, and occasionally fantastic casting...and then...OH, BUT THEN, dear listener...prepare for a torrent of my comically over-the-top fury never before heard on the air! You may leave this episode cowering in fear, but it's only appropriate for this, the first official instance of the "WORST Movie of All-Time!".

Episode 50 - Nifty Nifty

(part of "No Squeakuel Summer"). (Seriously, folks. SEE IT. It will improve your cinematic life eleventy billion-fold.)

Episode 48 - The Toughest Gay in the Old West

Legend tells of this episode in which Nick and I embark on a conversational journey to analyze our dreams, wax fearful and wondrous about the ocean, concoct the next big western, and profess our love for "True Blood". Plus, a treatise in defense of Ewoks and more classic O.U.P. self-doubt!

Episode 47 - The John Cleese Monkey

Deep in the heart of The Town, the "No Squeakuel Summer" swings on as Nick and I take on 1997's "George of the Jungle"! Marvel as we spend fifteen minutes on the cast list, divert into a forum on coffee, possibly discover a new recurring segment, and pinpoint why one of us really didn't care for this movie. (I'll give you a hint. His name isn't Jeff.) Watch out for that..."Best Movie of All-Time"!
